Church Parking

One day, a man went to visit a church.  He got there early, parked his car and got out.  Another car pulled up near the driver got out and said, " I always park there! You took my place!"
The visitor went inside for Sunday School, found an empty seat and sat down.  A young lady from the church approached him and stated, "That's my seat!  You took my place!"  The visitor was somewhat distressed by this rude welcome, but said nothing.
After Sunday School, the visitor went into the sanctuary and sat down.  Another member walked up to him and said, " That's where I always sit!  You took my place!"
The visitor was even more troubled by this treatment, but still He said nothing ...

Later as the congregation was praying for Christ to dwell among them, the visitor stood up, as his appearance began to change. Horrible scars became visible on his hands and on his sandaled feet. Someone from the congregation noticed him and called out, "What happened to you?"
The visitor replied, as his hat became a crown of thorns, and a tear fell from his eye, "I took your place."

Thank you Lord!

I am thankful for being blessed with such a rewarding and exciting job. I am a CNA in the Emergency Room here where we live and am amazed at the sense of accomplishment and meaning I get every day that I work. Even though it took me til now to find my true calling, I know that God led me through everything I've been through so that I would be ready to serve as I am now.

P.S.  Update on blue bird babies.  If they were named after the "King", it could now be said that "Elvis has left the building".  I checked the box today and they are no longer residents of their old domicile.

Farewell, my feathered friends. May you all find favor flying far and wide.   (I get paid for every "f" I use, can you tell?)

I am thanking God for answered prayer.  I will be starting CNA classes May 22!  I am very excited with the direction God is leading me in my life.

You paid attention during 86% of high school!

85-100% You must be an autodidact, because American high schools don't get scores that high! Good show, old chap!

Do you deserve your high school diploma?
